Faculty Support
The CSL is pleased to support faculty by providing supplemental academic assistance for students, whether in the subject area or through academic coaching. Below are two ways that faculty can encourage students to utilize CSL services:
Consider adding the following to your syllabus or online course homepage:
Center for Student Learning: I encourage you to utilize the Center for Student Learning’s (CSL) academic support services for assistance in study skills, speaking & writing strategies, and course content. The CSL offers tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, academic coaching appointments, and workshops. Students of all abilities have become more successful using these programs throughout their academic career and the services are available to you at no additional cost. For more information regarding these services please visit the CSL website at http://csl.cofc.edu or call (843)953-5635.
The CSL offers a series of Study Skills Workshops for all students each semester, and can also provide customized workshops on request. - Time and Task Management
- Learning Modalities
- The Studying Process
- Test Taking
- Planning for Exams
