  • Overall supervision of the Center for Student Learning, the College's centralized academic support services center.
  • Selecting, training, and supervising more than 160 student tutors
  • Coordinating tutor training and managing tutor certification through College Reading and Learning Association for the peer education related programs
  • Collaborating with other staff in research, evaluation, and reporting of Center for Student Learning data
  • Working with campus colleagues and professional organizations to promote and enhance Center for Student Learning services
  • Meeting with individual students to discuss and identify academic problems
  • Handling components of Supplemental Instruction (SI)
  • Coordinates Cougar Countdown event with collaborating offices
  • Serves on the boards of NCLCA, the National College Learning Center Association and SECLCA, the Southeastern College Learning Center Association
