Successful students know that collaboration and communication are keys to success. In the CSL drop-in labs, you'll share space and learn with and from other students. In SI sessions, your student leader will equip you and your classmates with tools and techniques. And in academic coaching sessions, you and a coach will work toward your stated goals.

The CSL is your one stop shop for academic success. Drop-in tutoring. Group study. One-on-one coaching. We’re here to help you reach your goals – morning, noon, and night.

Tutoring

Most tutoring is offered in a drop-in lab setting - this includes Math, Spanish, Writing, Science, Business, and Computer Science. Labs are open morning, afternoon, and evening hours Monday-Thursday, with limited hours on Sunday. Tutoring is also available by appointment for select courses as well as presentation prep.

Supplemental Instruction (SI)

SI is an internationally recognized approach to learning that combines “what to learn” with “how to learn.” Students in SI-supported courses attend group study sessions guided by a trained peer leader. SI support is proven to increase grades and retention in the course.
