Duties
- Overall supervision of the Center for Student Learning, the College's centralized academic support services center.
- Selecting, training, and supervising more than 160 student tutors
- Coordinating tutor training and managing tutor certification through College Reading and Learning Association for the peer education related programs
- Collaborating with other staff in research, evaluation, and reporting of Center for Student Learning data
- Working with campus colleagues and professional organizations to promote and enhance Center for Student Learning services
- Meeting with individual students to discuss and identify academic problems
- Handling components of Supplemental Instruction (SI)
- Coordinates Cougar Countdown event with collaborating offices
- Serves on the boards of NCLCA, the National College Learning Center Association and SECLCA, the Southeastern College Learning Center Association
